| The Inka Pen is an awesome companion for backcountry travelers and urban adventurers. The pint-sized pen ($25), works perfectly in all weather conditions: in extreme heat, cold, upside down, at high altitudes and underwater, thanks to a pressurized ink cartridge. It has a sleek steel cylindrical design, is fully waterproof, and comes with an O-ring chain. It unscrews and can become two sizes (full-sized and small), and also has a tip for writing on PDA gizmos. Greg Adelman, a former engineer for Scripps Institution of Oceanography designs, manufacturers, and sells the pen out of Boulder, CO.
